TAPAS IN PLAZA DE LAS FLORES
The current Plaza de las Flores has undergone various name changes throughout its history. Until the mid-seventeenth century, there was a building for the sale of meat, belonging to the wealthy landowner Macías Coque. Around that building, the florists placed their stalls, in order to be able to offer their products to the people who came to Las Carnicerías that were there and gave the square its name.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Town Hall decided to change its name to Plaza Pedro Díaz Cassou, in honour of this erudite Murcian writer. Although, traditionally, the place was known by the citizens as the Plaza de las Flores. In 1968, the Town Hall decided to definitively call the area Plaza de las Flores, since it was the name by which it was known by all Murcians.
Currently, around the central fountain there are flower stalls, shops, cafes, trees, wooden benches, lampposts, etc. turning the place into one of the most charming squares in the city.

TAPAS IN THE POST OFFICE MARKET
The Mercado de Correos de Murcia is a cosmopolitan space that, nevertheless, has been created with an offer based on Murcian recipes and pantry, as well as to recover and bring back to life one of the most emblematic buildings of the city.
The main activity of the Market takes place on the ground floor where there are 16 gastronomic stalls (12 food stalls and the rest dedicated to cocktails, beer, wine, vermouth and coffee) and a central area of high tables with table service. It is like the Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid or the Mercado de la Boqueria in Barcelona.
